About Me

Hey, I’m Aaron, a Product Designer based in Toronto focused on creating thoughtful, user-centered digital experiences that balance user needs with business outcomes.

I hold a Master’s degree in User Experience Design from the University of Toronto, where I built a strong foundation in research-driven design, usability, and human-centered problem solving. I’ve since applied this across both industry and project work, designing products that simplify complex systems and improve usability.

Previously, I worked as a Product Design Consultant at AC Design, leading end-to-end design work from research and discovery through to high-fidelity execution. My work included redesigning information architecture, improving core user flows, and delivering intuitive product experiences.

At All-Risks Insurance Brokers, I led the design of a multi-step insurance quote flow for auto and home products, improving completion rates and reducing drop-off. I also redesigned the policy comparison experience and contributed to a self-service customer portal for managing policies, payments, and documents.

More recently, I collaborated with Fisheries and Oceans Canada to redesign an internal dashboard for Ecosystem Overview and Status gap analysis. Through research and usability testing, I improved data discoverability and aligned the experience with accessibility and organizational goals. I’m interested in solving complex product challenges, improving usability at scale, and designing systems that create long-term value for both users and businesses.

Outside of design, I enjoy fitness and gaming, interests that continue to shape my perspective on user behavior, motivation, and engagement in digital experiences.
